Resource Sharing Innovation Awards

The Rethinking Resource Sharing Initiative is proud to announce its two winners of the 2010 Rethinking Resource Sharing (RRS) Innovation Awards, which recognize and honors individuals or institutions for changes they made to improve users’ access to information through resource sharing in their library, consortium, state or country.
The Initiative presented the 2010 Innovation Awards to COKAMO and DataCite. COKAMO is an interstate library delivery service linking regional courier services in Colorado, Kansas and Missouri, which reduces the costs of inter-state borrowing while speeding up the delivery of materials to library patrons. DataCite is an international dataset registration initiative supporting researchers in locating, identifying, and citing research datasets, which includes members in North America and Europe.
Each of the award winners will receive $1,000.
